Match Report Press Report

Lee-on-Solent 1 Beat Abshot 1 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 5 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 90 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 94 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Paul Holdway.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Sam Miller, gaining 3247 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Sam Miller, who over-turned a 2289 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
